Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bongi Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the State of Delaware, United States, collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit guestpostkit.com (the “Site”), purchase or use the GuestPostKit plugin (the “Plugin”), or join our affiliate program.

By using the Site or Plugin, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who We Are

GuestPostKit is a product of Bongi Technologies LLC.

For any privacy-related question, request, or complaint, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account & purchase data: name, email address, billing address, country, and (where applicable) company name when you create an account or place an order.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Affiliate data: if you join our affiliate program, we collect your name, email, website URL, PayPal email (for payouts), and any tax information you choose to provide.
  • Support communications: the content of emails you send to [email protected], including any attachments.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our third-party tools automatically collect:

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.
  • Analytics data: via Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — described in Section 4.

2.3 Information Collected by the Plugin

When the GuestPostKit Plugin is installed on a customer’s WordPress site, it periodically sends us:

  • The license key associated with the install
  • The site URL where the license is being used
  • The plugin version installed

This is used solely to validate the license, deliver updates, and enforce the site-count limit of the purchased plan. The Plugin does not collect, transmit, or store data about your site’s guest posters, submissions, payments, or any end-user content. All such data remains on the customer’s own WordPress installation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process orders, deliver license keys, and provide plugin updates.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts, renewal reminders, password resets).
  • Manage the affiliate program — track referrals, calculate commissions, and process payouts.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and security incidents.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
  • Improve the Site, Plugin, and customer experience through aggregate analytics.
  • In the future, send marketing emails about product updates, new features, tips, and offers — only to users who opt in (see Section 5).

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We share limited information with the following providers, each governed by their own privacy policy:

5. Marketing Communications

We are not currently running an email marketing program. In the near future, we plan to use Brevo (or a similar email service provider) to send occasional marketing emails — product updates, new features, tutorials, and offers.

When marketing is launched:

  • You will only receive marketing emails if you opt in (e.g., by checking a subscription box, signing up for a newsletter, or explicitly consenting at checkout where required by law).
  • Every marketing email will include a clear unsubscribe link.
  • Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional emails (order receipts, renewal notices, support replies, etc.), which we must send to fulfill our service.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies: keeping you logged in, remembering your cart, and securing checkout. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site.
  • Advertising cookies: Meta Pixel, for ad measurement and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Affiliate cookies: a 30-day cookie placed when a visitor arrives via an affiliate referral link, used to attribute sales to the correct affiliate.

You can control cookies via your browser settings or, where available on our Site, through our cookie consent banner. Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.

7. The GuestPostKit Affiliate Program

If you join our affiliate program, the following additional privacy practices apply:

  • We track clicks on your unique referral link and any resulting purchases for 30 days from the initial click.
  • We store your name, email, website, PayPal email (or other payout details), and your earnings history.
  • Affiliates can log in to a dashboard to view their referrals, conversions, and pending payouts.
  • We may share your information with payment providers (Stripe / PayPal) to process commission payouts.
  • For US-based affiliates earning above the IRS reporting threshold, we may collect tax information (W-9) as required by law.

You can request deletion of your affiliate account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Records required for tax or accounting purposes may be retained as required by law.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Customer accounts and orders: for as long as your account is active, plus a retention period required by US tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
  • Affiliate records: as long as the affiliate account is active, plus tax-required retention.
  • Support emails: up to 3 years from the last interaction.
  • Analytics data: as configured by Google Analytics and Meta Pixel default retention settings.
  • Plugin license/site data: for the lifetime of your license, plus 12 months after expiry or cancellation.

After these periods, data is deleted or fully anonymized.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Port your data to another service in a structured format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (California residents — note that we do not sell personal data).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days.

GDPR (European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the legal bases on which we process your data are: performance of a contract (orders, support), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement), legal obligation (tax, accounting), and consent (marketing, non-essential cookies).

CCPA / CPRA (California residents)

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email [email protected].

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may be located in the US, EU, India, and other jurisdictions. By using the Site or Plugin, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, restricted access to production systems, and reliance on PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors (Stripe and PayPal).

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Site and Plugin at your own risk.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site and Plugin are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., social media, payment providers, our parent company’s other products). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before sharing your information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or via a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site or Plugin after changes means you accept the revised policy.
